CDP Low-Maintenance Switch Lock
The CDP low maintenance switch lock is a service-friendly switch (point) lock. It is one of the newest generation of low-maintenance and minimum-lubrication switch locking devices which helps to reduce the costs of maintaining railway switches (points). The latest designs include the WKV 22, the BFL 22 and the new integrative claw lock EVZ. The EVZ was developed by CDP for and with the Deutsche Bahn AG.
Rigid and movable locking devices can be quickly replaced by the new switch lock.
The use of materials with particular anti-friction properties mean that the sliding surfaces merely require light re-greasing in the course of point inspection. The locking device is self-adjusting in the event of temperature longitudinal displacement up to +/- 35mm.
The clamp can be adjusted via an eccentric bolt, so there is no need for grinding when assembling, The main components are die-forged and thus fulfil the highest safety requirements.
