For this year’s Christmas function, the IMTRAM team embraced the festive spirit with a unique and hands-on experience at Sausages Made Simple, hosted by none other than Sara Grazia, “Melbourne’s Sausage Queen.” This historic venue in West Melbourne welcomed us with open arms, tantalizing Hors D’oeuvres, and a refreshing aperitif to kick off the day.
We then stepped into the beautifully equipped kitchen, rolled up our sleeves, and got to work! Guided by Sara, we crafted a delicious batch of English and spicy Italian sausages. It was a fantastic team-building experience as we chopped, mixed, measured, and filled the longest sausage any of us had ever seen—complete with plenty of laughter and innuendo along the way.
The fun didn’t stop there! Our culinary adventure continued as we prepared a variety of dishes featuring our homemade sausages, from sausage rolls and panini to fresh salads and classic bangers and mash. The best part? Savouring the fruits of our labor during a well-earned lunch.
The day was a resounding success, bringing our team closer together and leaving us with unforgettable memories.
