This week, the IMTRAM team participated in a comprehensive First Aid Training course facilitated by St John Ambulance. The one-day course was highly informative, covering essential life-saving skills such as CPR, along with a wide range of medical scenarios, including bites and stings, anaphylaxis, choking, burns, and more.
Beyond the invaluable skills gained, the course also served as a fantastic team-building opportunity. Team members practiced bandaging techniques on one another, treated mock injuries, and worked through realistic scenarios to reinforce their learning.
At IMTRAM, we value the importance of being prepared to respond confidently and calmly in emergency situations. Knowing our team has the skills to potentially save lives and reduce risks at home and in the workplace is a source of reassurance and pride.
The training was expertly conducted by St John Ambulance, with clear instruction and engaging practical exercises, including CPR practice on both adult and baby manikins.
While we hope never to need these skills, we’re committed to keeping our training up to date, ensuring we are always ready to help in times of need.
