In March this year, IMTRAM attended the long awaited AusRAIL Plus Exhibition in Sydney and created quite a stir with our 100% recyclable cardboard stand created for us by Tobias Horrocks of Fold Theory. The stand initiated numerous conversations with many asking us “What will you do with the stand after the exhibition?”.

The answer was obvious to us at IMTRAM as we have always held sustainability as a core value. At the end of the show the stand was flat-packed down to a single pallet and shipped back to Melbourne where, with Tobias’ help the feature train was rebuilt to become part of the IMTRAM foyer display.

The remainder of the cardboard was then redeployed to ChinChin Farm; a regenerative farming enterprise in the Macedon Ranges, to be used as valuable mulching material helping to keep weeds under control and ultimately regenerating and improving the rich soils.

The entire exercise was a win for IMTRAM, ChinChin Farm and ultimately for the environment!
